At ASHS the school council is divided into two Key Stage groups;

Upper School and Lower School.

Each group meets once every two weeks, with Upper School meeting every other Monday and Lower School meet every other Thursday.

Once a half term, both groups meet to discuss issues between Key Stages.

The Upper School is governed by rotating Chair-people:

• Nicole Bartram – Autumn Term
• Ruby Johnston – Spring Term
• Katie Dade – Summer Term

The Lower School is chaired by:

• Holly Sleightholme

Here at ASHS, we are proud of our community and we demonstrate this through our student council. Our role within the school is to listen to the voice of the student body as a whole and make necessary changes to solve problems efficiently.
