The Friends of Archbishop Sancroft High School consist of a friendly bunch of parents and carers, who like to keep in touch with what is going on at the school and also to support our children’s education at the school, as well as a couple of members of staff .
We meet once per term in the evenings at the school. We generally run fund raising events like quiz and chips and support the school’s events by providing refreshments to the activities that the children are involved in, like their concerts which are of great delight.

Fundraising - 50/50 Club
FOTASHS (the school’s PTA) would like to invite you to join our monthly prize draw to raise funds for the school. The club will be known as the 50/50 Club.
All we are asking for is a monthly commitment of only £1.00 with a minimum of 12 months enrolment into the club. Each month 50% of the monies collected will be entered into a prize draw. The other 50% of any monies collected will go into the FOTASHS bank account for future school projects.
How will it work – Each member of the club (members must be aged over 16) will be given a number chosen at random - you will not be able to choose your own number. Each month this number will be entered into a number prize draw with the chance of winning a cash prize. The larger the number of members, the larger the prize draw each month. For example if we have 200 members, each month we would be able to collect £200, £100 would the prize draw fund and £100 would be for the school project fund. We would like to have a prize draw each month of 1st, 2nd and 3rd, however initially this will be dependant on the number of club members.
You can purchase as many numbers as you like up to a maximum of 50.
The winning numbers will be drawn each month by a member of the local community, for example it could be drawn by our local PCSO.
We would like to celebrate by publishing the winners in our newsletter each month but you can also choose not to have your name published if we know in advance.
The date of the first draw will be Monday 10th September 2012. Subsequent draw dates will be published shortly.

We do hope you will support our club and can assure you we do have a clear policy here at school on gambling; however our Governing Body have given their approval for this club. If you have any concerns about winning money from FOTASHS but would still like to take part we will be more than happy to re invest your winnings towards a school project.

FOTASHS helped to raise funding for the new school minibus delivered in July 2012
