New Diplomas
About the Diploma
In creating the Pathways to Success Partnership and offering the new Diplomas we have been able to broaden our curriculum and offer a wider range of subjects that we hope our learners will find inspiring. Each of these Diplomas will give you the skills you need for university, training or work, and can be a first step towards your future career in the sector. It will also give you the skills that you need to study further at colleges, universities or gain employment.
Pathways to Success is an innovative 14-19 Partnership based in South Norfolk which brings together the collective potential of Archbishop Sancroft High School, Diss High School, Hartismere High School, Hobart High School, Long Stratton High School, City College Norwich and Easton College. We believe that through working together we are able to provide a wider range of high quality opportunities, tailored to the individual aspirations, interests and needs of learners.
The ICT, Environmental and Land-based and Sport and Active Leisure diplomas will also be available to ASHS students from Long Stratton High School,Easton College and Hobart High School respectively.
Students choosing Diplomas will spend one day a week at the lead school and the equivalent of another day a week back at their own school on Diploma related work.
Diplomas are designed to offer a new way of learning which is more practical, hands-on and relevant to everyday life and where learning takes place both inside and outside the classroom. This short guide is designed to give you more details of the exciting opportunities available.
